Public Grievance Meeting at Coimbatore Corporation Tomorrow

A public grievance meeting will be held at the Coimbatore Corporation office on 13.08.2024 from 11 AM to 1 PM, chaired by Mayor Ka. Ranganayaki Ramachandran, addressing various civic issues.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation is set to conduct a public grievance meeting tomorrow (13.08.2024) at its main office. The meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM under the leadership of Mayor Ka. Ranganayaki Ramachandran.

Residents within the Coimbatore Corporation limits can directly submit petitions to the Mayor regarding various basic amenities. These petitions may include requests for birth and death certificates, road facilities, street lighting, water supply, underground drainage, professional tax, property tax, vacant land tax, new water connections, name changes, and issues related to medical services, sanitation, and education.

The petitions received during this public grievance meeting will be addressed by the relevant department officials of the Corporation. Appropriate actions will be taken on the requests submitted. The Corporation administration has urged the public to utilize this opportunity to present their grievances and requests.

This initiative aims to provide a direct platform for citizens to voice their concerns and seek solutions to civic issues. The Corporation hopes that this meeting will help in addressing the immediate needs of the residents and improve the overall quality of municipal services in Coimbatore.
