Coimbatore Colleges Shine in National Rankings: 9 Arts and 3 Engineering Institutions in Top 100

The Central Government's annual college rankings reveal Coimbatore's educational prowess with 9 arts and 3 engineering colleges securing positions in the top 100 nationally, showcasing the city's academic excellence.


Coimbatore: The Central Government has released its annual rankings of the best colleges in the country, and Coimbatore district has made a remarkable showing. Nine arts colleges and three engineering colleges from the district have secured positions in the top 100 nationwide, highlighting the region's educational excellence.



In the arts category, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women has emerged as the frontrunner, securing the 7th position nationally and the top spot in Coimbatore.



Following closely is PSG College of Arts and Science, ranking 11th nationally and 2nd in Coimbatore.



Sri Krishna Arts and Science College has secured the 37th position nationally and stands 3rd in Coimbatore.



The engineering category also saw impressive performances from Coimbatore institutions. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham leads the pack, ranking 23rd nationally and 1st in Coimbatore.



PSG College of Technology follows, securing the 67th position nationally and 2nd in Coimbatore.



Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology rounds out the top three, ranking 83rd nationally and 3rd in Coimbatore.

These rankings underscore Coimbatore's standing as a hub of quality education, with its institutions consistently performing well across various disciplines. The achievements of these colleges reflect the dedication of their faculty, the quality of their infrastructure, and the overall academic environment in the district.
