37 Colleges from Tamil Nadu Among India's Top 100 Arts Colleges

Among the top-ranking colleges from Tamil Nadu are PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in Coimbatore, securing a high rank of 7th overall. Govt Arts College, Coimbatore which is a wholly funded govt college also features in the list.



Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu has firmly established itself as a leader in arts education in India, with 37 colleges from the state being listed among the top 100 arts colleges nationwide. This remarkable representation underscores the state's commitment to quality education and the strong academic foundations laid by its institutions.

Among the top-ranking colleges from Tamil Nadu are PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in Coimbatore, securing a high rank of 7th overall. Loyola College and Presidency College in Chennai also feature prominently, ranked 8th and 13th respectively. Madras Christian College follows closely at 14th place.

Notably, several government-funded colleges have also achieved high rankings, including Government Arts Colleges in Coimbatore, Karaikudi, and Kumbakonam. These institutions, operating under 100% financial support from the Tamil Nadu government, provide affordable and quality education, contributing to their inclusion in this prestigious list.
