Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Inspects Semmozhi Poonga Construction Work

Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing construction work of Semmozhi Poonga at the Gandhipuram Central Prison premises. The project, valued at Rs 167.25 crore, is a significant development for the city.

During his visit, the Commissioner thoroughly examined the progress of the construction and assessed the quality of work being carried out. He was accompanied by a team of officials who provided insights into various aspects of the project.



The inspection team included Assistant Commissioners Senthilkumaran (Central) and Ilangovan (South), Assistant Executive Engineer Hemalatha, Assistant Engineer Kamalakkannan, and other Corporation officials. Their presence ensured a comprehensive review of the project from different departmental perspectives.

The Semmozhi Poonga project is expected to be a major attraction in Coimbatore, offering residents and visitors a green space for recreation and relaxation. The Corporation is keen on completing the project on schedule while maintaining high standards of construction.
