The exercise, which lasted for eight days, saw participation from air forces of India, Germany, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi attended the event as the chief guest. He received the guard of honor from the Indian Air Force personnel.

Following this, an air show was conducted, showcasing various stunts performed by pilots flying helicopters, Tejas, Sukhoi, and MiG aircraft from the Indian Air Force. Germany's Typhoon fighter jet and Rafale aircraft also participated in the demonstration.
At the conclusion of the event, Governor Ravi presented mementos to the air force commanders from various participating countries, honoring their involvement in the joint air exercise.

Prior to the valedictory function, the Governor inaugurated and visited a military equipment exhibition in the Air Force Station premises, which had commenced the previous day.

A total of 62 stalls were set up, displaying various cutting-edge military equipment produced by both public sector and private manufacturing companies.
The 'Tarang Shakti 2024' exercise, which began on August 6th, provided a platform for the participating nations to engage in joint training operations and share best practices in aerial warfare. This multinational exercise not only enhanced interoperability between the air forces but also strengthened diplomatic and military ties between the participating countries.
The successful conclusion of this exercise highlights India's growing role in international military cooperation and its commitment to fostering defense partnerships with allied nations. The event also served as a showcase for India's indigenous defense capabilities, with domestically produced aircraft like Tejas taking part in the air display.
