110 Infantry Battalion Conducts Tricolor Bike Rally in Coimbatore for 78th Independence Day

The 110 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army in Redfields, Coimbatore, organized a Tricolor Bike Rally to commemorate its 75th year and the 78th Independence Day. Over 80 army personnel participated in the event.


Coimbatore: The 110 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army based in Redfields, Coimbatore, organized a Tricolor Bike Rally to mark its 75th year and celebrate the 78th Independence Day. The rally was flagged off by 2 IC Commander Vikram Singh.

More than 80 army personnel participated in the rally, riding two-wheelers and carrying the national flag. The procession started from the 110 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army campus and traveled through Red Fields Road, Race Course, and Valankulam areas.



A military vehicle followed the motorcade, adorned with national flags. Patriotic songs were played through loudspeakers mounted on this vehicle, attracting the attention of onlookers.



The Tricolor Bike Rally aimed to foster patriotism among the public and commemorate the 78th Independence Day celebrations. Both the participating army personnel and the general public showed great enthusiasm throughout the event.

The rally route covered significant parts of the city, allowing more residents to witness and participate in the patriotic fervor. The sight of the uniformed army personnel riding with national flags created a visually striking spectacle, reinforcing the spirit of national pride and unity.

This initiative by the 110 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army not only celebrated the nation's independence but also strengthened the bond between the armed forces and the civilian population of Coimbatore. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made for the country's freedom and the ongoing commitment of the armed forces to national security.
