MLA Jayaraman Inspects New CCTV Cameras in Okkilipalayam Panchayat

Pollachi MLA Jayaraman inspected 16 newly installed CCTV cameras in Okkilipalayam Panchayat near Pollachi. The cameras were funded through the MLA Local Area Development Scheme.



Coimbatore: Pollachi MLA Jayaraman conducted an inspection of the newly installed CCTV cameras in Okkilipalayam Panchayat near Pollachi on Tuesday. The initiative, funded through the MLA Local Area Development Scheme, saw the installation of 16 CCTV cameras across the panchayat area.

During his visit, MLA Jayaraman personally examined the newly installed cameras and inquired about their functionality. The legislator emphasized the importance of these surveillance devices in enhancing local security and monitoring public spaces.



The inspection was attended by several local officials and party members, including Vijayarani Rangasamy, the President of the Northern Union Committee, and Thirugnanasambandam, the AIADMK Secretary of Kinathukadavu West Union. The Okkilipalayam Panchayat President and other notable figures were also present during the inspection.

This initiative reflects the government's commitment to improving safety measures in rural areas. The installation of CCTV cameras is expected to aid in crime prevention and provide a sense of security to the residents of Okkilipalayam Panchayat.
