Coimbatore: Residents of Pollachi and its surrounding areas are advised to prepare for a scheduled power outage on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. The electricity supply will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM due to maintenance work at the Pollachi sub-station.

Pollachi town and its surrounding areas including Vadugapalayam, Chinnampalayam, Unjavelampatti, Kanjampatti, Nattukkalpalayam, Periyagoundanur, Anupparpalayam, Alampalayam, Eripatti, Kottampatti, Puliampatti, A. Sangampalayam, Achipatti, Kongunatanputhur, Solanur, Jothi Nagar, Rangasamudram, Zamin Kottampatti, Singanallur, Vakkampalayam, Akilandapuram, Nayakkanpalayam, Karuppampalayam, Ambarampalayam, Zamin Uthukuli, and Nallur.
Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions for the eight-hour power interruption. Essential services and facilities are recommended to make alternative arrangements to ensure uninterrupted operations during this period.
