The event was jointly conducted by the Tamil Nadu Photo Video Artists Trade Union and the Regional Transport Department.
The rally, which began in the Mahalingapuram area of Pollachi, saw hundreds of motorcyclists wearing helmets and riding through major roads including Coimbatore Road and Palakkad Road. The participants aimed to create public awareness about the crucial role of helmets in ensuring rider safety.
Organizers emphasized the recent increase in fatalities due to riders not wearing helmets during accidents. They stressed that helmets are "life guards" and should be worn without fail while riding two-wheelers.
