Paver Block Installation Begins in Ward 41 of Coimbatore

Paver block installation work commenced in P.N. Pudur Madathur area of Ward 41 in Coimbatore on August 14. The project was launched under the leadership of DMK officials and Corporation representatives.


Coimbatore: The installation of paver blocks in P.N. Pudur Madathur area of Ward 41 in Coimbatore began on August 14. The project was initiated under the leadership of Mrs. Deivayani Tamil Marai, the Western Zone Chairman of Coimbatore Corporation, and K. Shanthi Chandran, a Corporation Council member.

The event was also attended by DMK Ward Secretary Thambi Shanmugam, who played a key role in launching the project. The initiative aims to improve the infrastructure and aesthetics of the area, providing better walkways for residents.



Several local officials and community members participated in the inauguration ceremony. Notable attendees included Jayaprakash, Karthi, Lenin, Ashok, Muruganantham, Suresh, Devaraj, and Supri. Corporation officials were also present to oversee the commencement of the work.



The paver block installation is expected to enhance the overall look of the neighborhood while providing a durable and low-maintenance surface for pedestrians. This project is part of the ongoing efforts by the Coimbatore Corporation to upgrade urban infrastructure across the city.



The local residents expressed their satisfaction with the initiative, as it addresses long-standing concerns about the condition of walkways in the area. The project is anticipated to be completed in the coming weeks, bringing significant improvements to the Ward 41 locality.
