Coimbatore: A couple from Sindhaamani Puthur in Coimbatore, identified as Mr. and Mrs. Suresh, has appealed to the public for financial assistance to cover their child's medical expenses, which amount to a staggering Rs 16 crore. In a bid to secure help, the couple met with R. Mutharasan, the State Secretary of the Communist Party of India, on August 21, 2024. Responding to their plea, Mutharasan personally approached the Health Minister on August 24, 2024. The Minister has advised the family to bring the child for a comprehensive medical examination.
Following this development, the couple met with the Minister in charge of Coimbatore district today. The Minister has assured them that he will bring the matter to the attention of the Chief Minister.
