VCK Celebrates Thol. Thirumavalavan's 62nd Birthday in Udumalaipettai with Charity Event

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi members in Udumalaipettai marked their leader Thol. Thirumavalavan's 62nd birthday by distributing notebooks and sweets to underprivileged children on August 26.



Coimbatore: The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) in Udumalaipettai, Tiruppur district, celebrated the 62nd birthday of their party leader and Chidambaram MP Thol. Thirumavalavan with a flag-hoisting ceremony and distribution of textbooks to school and college students. The event took place at the USS Colony in Udumalaipettai on August 26.

The celebration, led by VCK Udumalaipettai town in-charge Pon Saktivel, saw the participation of several party officials. Jallipatty M. Murugan, the Deputy Secretary of Erode-Tiruppur zone, along with Il. Gopinath and A. Gifton David, hoisted the party flag and distributed sweets and notebooks to children.

Special invitees to the event included Immanuel, Arun Kumar, Bala Rajasekharan, Kalimuthu, Marimuthu, Ravikumar, and Veerasamy. Representatives from the women's wing of the party, including Manimegalai, Krishnaveni, and Selvi, also attended the celebration.

The charitable act of distributing educational materials to students and sweets to children was seen as a fitting tribute to Thirumavalavan's commitment to education and social welfare. The event not only marked the leader's birthday but also reinforced the party's connection with the local community in Udumalaipettai.
