Grand Celebration of Krishna Jayanthi: Children Dazzle as Krishna and Radha in Coimbatore

Over 500 children dressed as Krishna and Radha participated in a procession organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Sivananda Colony, Coimbatore, celebrating Krishna Jayanthi with dance performances and magic shows.



Coimbatore: The city witnessed a colorful and grand celebration of Krishna Jayanthi as more than 500 children dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha, parading through the streets of Sivananda Colony.



The event, organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) to mark Gokulashtami, captivated onlookers with its vibrant display of devotion and cultural richness.



The procession, which started from Rathinapuri area, saw children adorned in traditional Krishna and Radha attire, making their way through the streets before culminating at the main stage in Sivananda Colony.



The young participants then took to the stage, enthralling the audience with their dance performances set to devotional songs.



Adding to the festive atmosphere, a magic show was organized to entertain the children. The magician's tricks left the young audience spellbound and added an element of wonder to the celebrations. As a token of appreciation, all participating children were presented with gifts at the end of the event.

This celebration also marked the 60th founding day of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The organization combined its anniversary with the Krishna Jayanthi festivities, creating a dual celebration that brought together community members of all ages.

The event not only served as a platform for cultural expression but also helped in passing on traditional values to the younger generation. The enthusiasm of the children and the support of the community made the Krishna Jayanthi celebration a memorable affair in Coimbatore.
