Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, Sathishkumar, the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) RS Puram Mandal Youth Wing Secretary, was brutally attacked by an unidentified gang in Coimbatore. The victim has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital(Ganga) following the assault.

The attack, carried out by unknown individuals, has left Sathishkumar in critical condition. Local police have initiated an investigation into the incident, working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

In response to this violent attack, Vasantha Rajan, the BJP's Southern District President for Coimbatore, has announced a protest. The party plans to stage a demonstration outside the RS Puram Police Station, condemning the assault on their youth wing leader.
