Unanticipated inspection conducted at the Valparrai Government Hospital

The district medical office of Valparrai, Kannan, recently conducted an unannounced inspection at the Valparrai Government Hospital.



Some of the instructions directed to the employees after the inspection were to keep the general ward cleaner, some minor changes had to be made in the construction of the new labor wards, medical equipment has to be imported and new cots have to be bought.



They were also orders to provide high quality treatment at the Valparrai hospital rather than advising patients to go to Coimbatore or Pollachi for treatment.  The chief doctor, Thuvarakesh was present along with other medical officers at the time of the inspection.
