Tirupur: A sudden bee attack near Madathukulam in Tirupur district has left more than 10 people injured, including school children. The incident occurred at the Kaniyur bus stand area, causing panic among locals and commuters.

The swarm of bees appeared unexpectedly and began chasing and stinging people in the vicinity. The attack coincided with school closing time, putting returning students at risk as they arrived at the bus stand. Caught off guard, many school children ran across roads in confusion, trying to escape the aggressive bees.

The bees did not spare passing motorists either, relentlessly pursuing and stinging those on two-wheelers. An elderly person was particularly targeted by the bees, with bystanders unable to come to his aid due to the intensity of the swarm.
