AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore Tops in Employment Generation Under Naan Mudhalvan Scheme

AJK College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore secures first place among Bharathiar University affiliated colleges in employment generation under the Tamil Nadu government's Naan Mudhalvan skill development program.


Coimbatore: AJK College of Arts and Science in Navakkarai, Coimbatore, has achieved a significant milestone in employment generation under the Tamil Nadu government's prestigious Naan Mudhalvan skill development program. The college has secured the fourth position among 766 colleges across Tamil Nadu and the top spot among Bharathiar University affiliated colleges in Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, and Nilgiris districts.

The Naan Mudhalvan scheme, initiated by the Tamil Nadu government, aims to provide valuable job opportunities to students through skill development. As part of this initiative, a state-level seminar for all educational institution heads was held at Bharathiar University on August 29, 2024.

Innocent Divya IAS, Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, participated as a special guest at the seminar. She presented a certificate of achievement to AJK College of Arts and Science, recognizing their continuous and relentless efforts in successfully implementing job opportunities under the Naan Mudhalvan skill development program.

This achievement highlights the college's commitment to enhancing students' employability skills and bridging the gap between academia and industry requirements. The recognition serves as a testament to the institution's dedication to preparing its students for the competitive job market and contributing to the state's skill development initiatives.
