CAGJMA Leaders Meet Tamil Nadu Minister Tha. Mo. Anbarasan, Present Goldsmiths' Welfare Demands

Coimbatore: The leaders of the Coimbatore Artisans Gold Jewellery Manufacturers Association (CAGJMA) met Tamil Nadu Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Tha. Mo. Anbarasan, during his visit to Coimbatore on August 29, 2024. The delegation presented a list of demands aimed at safeguarding the welfare of goldsmiths.

CAGJMA President Raghunathan Subbaiah (SR) and Secretary Dhandapani met with Minister Anbarasan and submitted their demands on behalf of the goldsmith community. The meeting, which lasted about 25 minutes, saw the Minister showing keen interest in understanding the issues faced by goldsmiths and the intricacies of gold jewellery production.

Minister Anbarasan listened attentively to the concerns raised by the CAGJMA representatives and assured them of prompt action on the matters discussed. The CAGJMA leadership expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Minister for his time and attention to their concerns.

This meeting marks a significant step in addressing the needs of the goldsmith community in Coimbatore, a city renowned for its jewellery craftsmanship. The CAGJMA continues to play a crucial role in representing the interests of artisans and manufacturers in the gold jewellery sector.
