Wife's Welfare Day Celebrated at Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil Near Pollachi

The 110th birth anniversary of Vethathiri Maharishi's wife Logambal was celebrated as Wife's Welfare Day at Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil near Pollachi. Couples exchanged fruits and flowers as a symbol of respect and appreciation.



Coimbatore: The Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil near Pollachi celebrated the 110th birth anniversary of Logambal, wife of Vethathiri Maharishi, as Wife's Welfare Day. The event showcased the importance of women in society through a symbolic exchange of fruits and flowers between couples.



The ceremony began with a welcome address by Pachaiyappan, the trustee of Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil. Couples from various regions participated in the event, exchanging garlands and then presenting fruits to husbands and flowers to wives, symbolizing mutual respect and appreciation.

Thiruchi Siva, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee, attended the function as a special guest and delivered a speech highlighting the greatness and dignity of wives.



The event saw participation from notable figures including Kulasekaran, the POCSO Judge of Coimbatore district, and Nithyanandham, another trustee of Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil.



The celebration aimed to emphasize the significance of women in family life and society at large. The exchange of fruits and flowers between spouses represented the nurturing role of wives and the blooming of love and respect in marital relationships.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Chinnasamy, the Joint Administrative Trustee, marking the end of a meaningful celebration that honored wives and promoted marital harmony.
