Udumalpet Municipal Chairman Visits Injured Workers in Government Hospital

Udumalpet Municipal Chairman Matheen visited 19 female workers injured in a truck accident near Ammapatti, offering condolences and assessing their treatment at the government hospital.


Coimbatore: In a show of concern for local workers, Udumalpet Municipal Chairman Matheen visited the government hospital today to meet with 19 female laborers who were injured in a recent accident. The workers are currently receiving treatment following a severe incident where their goods vehicle overturned near Ammapatti, in the Udumalpet region of Tiruppur district.

The accident occurred when the truck, carrying female workers, capsized in the Ammapatti division area near Udumalpet. The sudden overturning of the vehicle resulted in injuries to all 19 occupants, prompting their immediate admission to the government hospital for medical attention.

During his visit, Chairman Matheen personally interacted with the injured workers, offering words of comfort and support. He also took the opportunity to assess the quality of medical care being provided to the accident victims, ensuring they were receiving adequate treatment for their injuries.

This gesture by the Municipal Chairman highlights the local administration's commitment to the welfare of its working population, especially in times of crisis. The visit not only provided moral support to the injured workers but also allowed the chairman to directly oversee the healthcare services being offered at the government facility.
