Coimbatore MP Dr. P. Ganapathi Rajkumar distributed 63 free bicycles to girl students at Ramanathapuram Municipal Girls Higher Secondary School on September 3, in the presence of Mayor Ranganayaki Ramachandran and other officials.
Coimbatore: In a ceremony held at the Ramanathapuram Municipal Girls Higher Secondary School in Ward 63 of Coimbatore Corporation's Central Zone, Coimbatore Member of Parliament Dr. P. Ganapathi Rajkumar distributed 63 free bicycles to girl students on Sunday, September 3.

The event was presided over by Coimbatore Mayor Ranganayaki Ramachandran. Among the dignitaries present were Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS, Deputy Mayor R. Vetriselvan, and other corporation officials.

The distribution of free bicycles is part of the government's initiative to promote education and ease transportation for girl students. The event saw the participation of Municipal Education Officer Gunasekaran, Assistant Commissioner Senthilkumaran, Assistant Engineer Hemalatha, Zonal Health Officer Gunasekaran, school headmasters, and other corporation officials.
