Karpagam Institute of Technology Hosts Grand Orientation for First-Year Students

Karpagam Institute of Technology welcomed first-year students with 'New Bie'24' orientation event at Sekkizhar Hall, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education. Advocate K.Sumathi was the chief guest, emphasizing digital and eternal learning.


Coimbatore: Karpagam Institute of Technology, a renowned institution in Coimbatore, hosted an impressive orientation event, 'New Bie'24', today to welcome the first-year students for the academic year 2024-2025. The event took place at Sekkizhar Hall, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, with Advocate K.Sumathi, a renowned public speaker, as the chief guest.



The program, which began at 10:30 am, was presided over by Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Karpagam Charity Trust. Dr. S. Padmanaban, Head of S&H department, welcomed the gathering, followed by the presidential address delivered by Dr. P. Manimaran, Principal of the institution. Dr. D. Bhanu, the Vice Principal, along with faculty members and students, were also present to welcome the new batch.

Dr. P. Manimaran highlighted the institution's commitment to providing quality education and fostering holistic development.



Dr. R. Vasanthakumar emphasized the significance of faith and god, the value of teachers, and encouraged students to bring global technologies back to our country.



The chief guest, Advocate K. Sumathi, in her speech, highlighted the importance of digital learning and eternal learning. She further accentuated the life and words of Celine Dion to inspire students on constant hard work and growth.

The orientation event provided a platform for students to connect with their peers and create long-lasting acquaintances. As the program concluded, students left Sekkizhar Hall with renewed enthusiasm, ready to commence their educational journey at Karpagam Institute of Technology.
