Coimbatore: Arul Siva, a Tamil teacher at the Government Higher Secondary School in Velliyangadu, Coimbatore, was honored with the prestigious Dr. Radhakrishnan Award at a ceremony held in Chennai on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Minister Anbil Mahesh presented the award to Arul Siva yesterday.
Following the award ceremony, Arul Siva returned to his school today, September 6, where he was warmly welcomed and felicitated by local DMK party members. S.M.T. Kalyanasundaram, the DMK Karamadai East Union Secretary, and Thayannur Pradeep, the Youth Wing Union Organizer, along with other party members, honored the teacher by presenting him with a shawl.
