TNAU Offers One-Day Training on Mass Production and Use of Predators and Parasitoids

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is conducting a one-day training program on mass production and use of predators and parasitoids on September 10, 2024, at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is set to conduct a one-day training program on "Mass production and use of Predators and Parasitoids" on September 10, 2024 (Tuesday). The training will be held at the Department of Agricultural Entomology in Coimbatore.

The hands-on training will cover various aspects of parasitoids and predators, including their identification, mass culturing of Corcyra cephalonica, mass production of Tricho cards, larval parasitoids, green lace wing fly, lady bird beetle, and parasitoid of papaya mealy bug. The program will also focus on the role of parasitoids and predators in insect pest management.

Interested candidates are required to reach the Department of Agricultural Entomology before 9 am on the day of training. The fee for the one-day program is Rs. 900/- (Rupees nine hundred only), which should be remitted on arrival.
