A two-day exhibition of aircraft parts and drones was held at United Institute of Technology in Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, featuring model aircraft, drones, and unmanned vehicles, attracting over 4000 students and 1000 public visitors.
Coimbatore: The United Institute of Technology in Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, hosted a two-day exhibition of aircraft parts and drones, along with an air show. The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Radhakrishnan, Principal of the United Institute of Technology.
Engineer S. Shanmugam, founder and chairman of United Educational Institutions, presided over the function. Antony Benson, Commander of CRPF Coimbatore, attended as the special guest and officially opened the aircraft parts exhibition.
In his address, Commander Benson emphasized the importance of students developing self-confidence and conducting research in various fields to provide new innovations to society. Dr. C.A.M. Kailash Kumar, Administrative Trustee of United Educational Institutions, and V. Arun Karthikeyan, Secretary of United Educational Institutions, offered their felicitations for the event.

The exhibition's highlights included displays of aircraft models, drones, and unmanned vehicles. Visitors had the opportunity to see radio-controlled model aircraft and drones in action, observe aircraft operations, and even operate some models. Arrangements were made for direct interactions with pilots operating unmanned aerial vehicles.
