Yoga and Karate Classes Launched at Park Avenue Park in Kuniyamuthur

The inauguration ceremony of yoga and karate training classes was held at Park Avenue Park in Ward 87 of Kuniyamuthur on September 7. The event saw participation from local officials and community leaders.


Coimbatore: The Park Avenue Park in Ward 87 of Kuniyamuthur witnessed a grand inauguration ceremony for yoga and karate training classes on September 7, 2024. The event, which began at 5 PM, was attended by various community leaders and local officials, marking a significant step towards promoting physical and mental wellness in the area.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Samuel Gnana Kadatcham, President of the Park Avenue Association. Mr. Shareef, President of Sai Garden Residents Association and Vice President of the United Association, delivered the welcome address.



Special addresses were given by Mr. Ajay Thangam, Assistant Commissioner of Police, and Mr. Sadasivam, General Secretary of the 87th Ward Federation. Mr. Abdul Hakeem, President of the United Residents Association of Annama Naicker Street, also shared his thoughts on the initiative.

The event featured a ceremonial shawl presentation to honor the dignitaries. Mr. Samuel and Mr. Shajahan presented shawls to Mr. Ajay Thangam and Mr. Sadasivam respectively. Mr. Muhammad Ali and Mr. Sakeela honored Mr. Baskaran, the Kuniyamuthur Police Inspector.



Mr. Hakeem took charge of distributing tea and snacks to the attendees. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Iqbal, the organizer of the Park Avenue Residents Association.
