DMK General Members Meeting Held in Coimbatore, Party Leaders Stress on Strengthening Electoral Performance

DMK held a general members meeting in Coimbatore's Kavundampalayam area. Leaders emphasized the need to strengthen the party's performance in upcoming elections, following their success in the parliamentary polls.



Coimbatore: The DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) held a general members meeting for the Kavundampalayam area at a private marriage hall on the road leading to TVS Nagar near Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore.



The meeting was presided over by the area secretary Sarath Vignesh.



A. Ravi, the North District Secretary from Thondamuthur, attended as a special invitee. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the party's performance in the recent parliamentary elections, stating, "We secured 25,000 more votes in the Goundampalayam constituency alone during the parliamentary elections. Similarly, we need to work intensively from now on to win with a significant margin of votes in the upcoming assembly elections."



During the event, senior DMK pioneers were honored with shields and shawls. In a significant development, Kanagaraj, the joint secretary of the AIADMK city students' wing, joined the DMK in the presence of all attendees.

The meeting saw participation from various party officials and members, including Deputy Secretary Ashok Babu Arukutti, former MP Nagaraj, Central Executive Committee member T.P. Subramanian, former leader Subramanian, former area secretary Sundaram, and Corporation Education Committee Chairperson Malathi Nagaraj. Other notable attendees were Deputy Speakers Shankar, Eswaran, and Kannagi, Treasurer Vasanthakumar, and District Representatives Loganathan, Kalyanasundaram, Sunilkumar, and Prabhakaran.

Ward Secretaries Kutti alias Velusamy, Ramanan, Thanaraj, and Kumaresan were also present. Council members Tamil Selvan, Subasree Sarath, Krishnamurthy, Sampath, and numerous other party executives participated in the meeting.



The event concluded with dinner being served to all attendees.
