Special Train to Run Between Hubli and Kochuveli via Coimbatore Route

A special train will operate between Hubli, Karnataka and Kochuveli, Kerala via Coimbatore. The train will run on September 13 and 14, connecting major cities across three states.


Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division has announced the operation of a special train between Hubli in Karnataka and Kochuveli in Kerala, passing through Coimbatore. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity between the three southern states.

According to the press release from the Salem Railway Division, the Hubli - Kochuveli special train (No. 07333) will depart from Hubli at 6:55 AM on September 13 and reach Kochuveli at 6:45 AM the next day. On the return journey, the Kochuveli - Hubli train (No. 07334) will leave Kochuveli at 12:50 PM on September 14 and arrive at Hubli at 12:50 PM the following day.

The special train will make stops at several key stations along its route, including Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru, and Byndhoor. This route covers major cities and towns across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, providing passengers with improved travel options between these states.

The introduction of this special train is expected to benefit passengers traveling for business, education, and tourism purposes, as it connects important commercial and cultural centers in South India. Travelers are advised to check the exact timings and booking details with the respective railway authorities or the official Indian Railways website.
