Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division has announced the operation of a one-way special train from Chennai Egmore to Kochuveli in Kerala, passing through Podanur in Coimbatore.
According to the official statement released by the Salem Railway Division, the Chennai Egmore - Kochuveli special train (No. 06160) will depart from Chennai Egmore on Friday, September 13, at 3:15 PM. The train is scheduled to reach Kochuveli railway station the next day at 8:30 AM.
The special train will make stops at several key stations along its route. These include Perambur, Tiruvallur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayamkulam, and Kollam.
