Coimbatore: In a ceremony held at Jayangondan (Senghanam) in Trichy on September 16, DMK Secretary and former MLA N. Karthik unveiled the statues of Kovai Metal M. Mani and Saraswati Mani, parents of Kovai Metal M. Raja, the Chairman of Coimbatore District Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Board. Prior to the unveiling, Karthik hoisted the DMK flag, marking the commencement of the event.
The ceremony also witnessed the inauguration of a smart classroom at the Jayangondan Government Aided Primary School by Mr. Vincent Adikaraj, MD of Kovai Jenny Residency and Black Thunder. This initiative aims to enhance the learning experience for students in the area.
