Coimbatore: Residents and motorists in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore, have raised concerns over the deteriorating condition of roads in their area. The damaged roads have been causing significant inconvenience to vehicle users, prompting calls for immediate repairs.

The Kuniyamuthur road, especially near the bus stand and several other locations, has developed numerous potholes that have remained unattended for several days. The situation has worsened as stones from these potholes have scattered across the roads, creating additional hazards for motorists.

Drivers using these routes are facing considerable difficulties due to the poor road conditions. The scattered debris and uneven surfaces are not only causing discomfort but also increasing the risk of accidents.

Concerned about the potential for accidents, local residents and regular commuters have come forward with a formal request on September 17. They are urging the authorities to take swift action to repair and restore the damaged roads in Kuniyamuthur.

The community hopes that their appeal will be heard and that necessary measures will be taken to improve the road conditions, ensuring safer and more comfortable travel for all road users in the area.
