A nurse Soumya, attached to a city hospital here has committed suicide under duress.
Police said that Soumya, daughter of Soundararajan and Shobana of Ooty has completed her nursing course from Coimbatore Medical college and joined as a nurse in a city hospital only a two weeks back.
Soumya had stayed in a hostel in Avarampalayam and her body was recovered from her room
Police have picked up two persons on suspicion of abetting her suicide, as they used to frequent her hostel, where she had stayed.
