Coimbatore: ADMK MLA S.P. Velumani accused the DMK government of abandoning the Anamalayaru-Nallar project during an AIADMK public meeting held near Pollachi. The event, which took place in Ramanamuthaliputur, was organized by the Anamalai East Union AIADMK to celebrate the 116th birth anniversary of Perarignar Anna and distribute new membership cards.

The meeting was presided over by Anamalai East Union Secretary Sundaram. District MGR Forum Deputy Secretary Mahlingam welcomed the gathering. S.P. Velumani, current MLA of Thondamuthur constituency, attended as the special guest and addressed the audience.
