Karnataka tops in Silk Production in the country- K. M. Hanumanthiah

The states of Karnataka and Andhra have been in the forefront of silk production in the country said.K. M. Hanumanthiah, Chairman of Central Silk Board

Hanumanthiah who had visited the regional office of the Central Silk Board office at Coonoor said the India has made progress in silk production in the recent years. Tamilnadu is one of the important centres of silk production and the state has witnessed growth in silk production he said.

Hanumanthiah, interacted with the employees and promised to rectify their grievances during his visit.
