People advised to make use of Corporation's Mobile Grievance Vehicle.


'Be it a clogged drainage or an unaddressed sanitation issue, the public can now make use of the mobile grievance vehicle of the Corporation which would be stationed at vantage points in every zone, on particular pre-set dates' said Corporation Commissioner, Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan at a public grievance meeting that was held at the Corporation's South Zone Office.

'Around 20 petitions were received today regarding sanitation issues, street light, clogged drainage, removal of trash etc., The concerned officials were directed immediately to attend to the issues on priority.

In a bid to facilitate ease of access, the mobile grievance van will be stationed at every zone as per the below mentioned time table. Monday - Central Zone, Tuesday -East Zone, Wednesday - West Zone, Thursday - South Zone and Friday - North Zone. The public are asked to make use of this facility and drop their grievances', said Corporation Commissioner.

Other than this schedule, public can also file their grievance petition anytime from Monday to Friday at the Corporation Office, Town hall. And, on every first Monday, the Corporation Commissioner will be available at the zonal offices to meet the public in person and hear their grievances. And, one such meetings was the meeting held today at the South Zone.
