Nilgiris MP A. Raja presented a gold ring to a DMK official who secured 90% votes in a single booth during a thanksgiving meeting in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore district.

Coimbatore: In a gesture reminiscent of DMK founder C.N. Annadurai's style, Nilgiris MP A. Raja honored a party official with a gold ring during a thanksgiving meeting in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore district. The event was held to express gratitude to the public for their support in the recent parliamentary elections.

A. Raja, who secured victory as the DMK candidate in the Nilgiris constituency, visited various areas in Mettupalayam including Odanthurai and Sankar Nagar. He thanked the voters for their overwhelming support and addressed the gathering at several locations.

During the event, it was highlighted that in Ward 15 of Mettupalayam Municipality, out of 925 votes cast, the DMK secured an impressive 826 votes. To recognize this outstanding performance, A. The MP's gesture of honoring the party worker was well-received by the attendees, symbolizing the party's appreciation for grassroots-level efforts in electoral success.
