Devotees Throng Udumalpet Tirupati Temple for Second Purattasi Saturday

Thousands of devotees queued up at the famous Tirupati Venkatesa Perumal Temple in Pallapalayam, near Udumalpet, Tirupur district, for the second Purattasi Saturday darshan. Special pujas and abhishekams were performed.



Tirupur: The renowned Tirupati Venkatesa Perumal Temple in Pallapalayam, near Udumalpet in Tirupur district, witnessed a massive influx of devotees on the second Saturday of Purattasi month.



Thousands of worshippers from Udumalpet and surrounding areas gathered to seek blessings from Sri Venkatesa Perumal.



The day began with special pujas and abhishekams for Sri Venkatesa Perumal. Temple authorities performed 16 different types of abhishekams, including milk, curd, rose water, and flowers, as part of the morning rituals. Following these ceremonies, the deity was adorned with special decorations for darshan.

Devotees formed long queues from the temple entrance, patiently waiting for their turn to have a glimpse of the Lord. The temple administration had made elaborate arrangements to manage the crowd and ensure a smooth darshan experience for all visitors. After darshan, prasadam in the form of laddus was distributed to all the devotees.

The Tirupati Temple administration had meticulously planned and executed the arrangements for this special worship day, accommodating the large number of devotees who had come from various parts of Udumalpet and neighboring regions. The second Purattasi Saturday holds significant importance for devotees of Lord Venkatesa, and the turnout at the Udumalpet Tirupati Temple reflected the fervor and devotion of the people in the region.
