AJK College of Arts and Science, in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and ICDS Madukkarai Block, organized the 7th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2024 on September 27, 2024, in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: The AJK College of Arts and Science, an A+ Accredited Institution by NAAC, joined forces with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) Madukkarai Block to organize the 7th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2024 on September 27, 2024.

The event, held at the college premises, aimed to raise awareness about nutrition and its importance in child development. M Shrieenithi, Child Development Project Officer of Madukkarai Block, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Parameswari S and Saranya K from the Women's Christian Service Centre (WCSC) Coimbatore also attended as special guests, lending their expertise to the program. The collaboration between academic institutions and government schemes highlighted the collective effort to address nutrition-related issues in the community.

The Rashtriya Poshan Maah, an annual event, focuses on promoting better nutrition practices and creating awareness about the importance of a balanced diet, especially for children and women.
