Job Fair for Differently-Abled Held at Siddhapudur Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore

A job fair for differently-abled individuals was organized by the Department of Welfare for the Differently-Abled at Siddhapudur Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore on September 28. Participants from various districts attended the event.


Coimbatore: The Department of Welfare for the Differently-Abled organized a job fair for differently-abled individuals at Siddhapudur Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore on Saturday, September 28. The event saw participation from differently-abled individuals from various districts.

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati handed over appointment orders to the selected differently-abled candidates at the job fair. This initiative aims to promote employment opportunities and inclusivity for differently-abled individuals in the workforce.

In a separate event on the same day, Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati inaugurated a medical camp in Oonjapalayam village, which falls under the Kaniyur Panchayat of Sulur Panchayat Union in Coimbatore. The medical camp was organized by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.



The medical camp benefited nutritious meal scheme workers, Anganwadi workers, and employees of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. This initiative aims to provide accessible healthcare services to rural workers and promote their overall well-being.

These events highlight the district administration's efforts to support both differently-abled individuals and rural workers in Coimbatore, focusing on employment opportunities and healthcare accessibility.
