Judge Records Statement from Robber at Coimbatore Government Hospital

Coimbatore: Judge Malathi from the Kumarapalayam Criminal Court recorded the statement of Asar Ali, a robber currently undergoing treatment at Coimbatore Government Hospital.

Asar Ali, one of the robbers who attempted to escape with money from a container near Veppadai in Namakkal district, was injured in a police shootout. Subsequently, he was admitted to Coimbatore Government Hospital for further treatment.



Today, Judge Malathi from the Kumarapalayam Criminal Court visited the Coimbatore Government Hospital and recorded the statement of the accused, Asar Ali. It is understood that crucial information regarding the robbery incident was documented during this statement.

The police are continuing their investigation into the incident. Law enforcement officials stated that measures are being taken to swiftly arrest the other individuals involved in the robbery.
