Coimbatore: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conducted a membership drive at a private hall in the Sundharapuram area of Coimbatore. BJP leader K.P. Ramalingam, who participated in the event, met with reporters and shared details about the party's ongoing nationwide membership campaign.
Ramalingam stated that the BJP's membership drive has been underway across the country since September 2. He emphasized that nationalism and divinity form the core principles of the BJP. Based on these principles, 72 lakh people have joined the party as members nationwide.
The BJP leader further added, "A honest movement should govern Bharat, and the BJP is such an honest governing party. That's why we are giving importance to this membership drive."
In a scathing attack on the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, Ramalingam said, "The Tamil Nadu ministers are collectively a gang of thieves. Whether it's a new thief or an old one, they're all thieves. It's about who can be a better broker, taking commissions and giving them to Sabareesan and Udhayanidhi. Senthil Balaji is an expert in receiving and giving commissions."
