Coimbatore: Sanitation workers in Ward 27 of Coimbatore Corporation carried out intensive cleaning operations in areas under Peelamedu today. The workers were engaged in removing garbage from various locations within the ward.

Following the garbage removal, a mosquito fogging operation was also conducted in the area to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases.

Ward Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally visited the site today (Sept. 30) to inspect and review the ongoing sanitation work. She urged the sanitation workers to complete the cleaning operations promptly and efficiently.
It is noteworthy that Ward Supervisor Maheswari was also present during the inspection. The intensified cleaning drive is part of the Corporation's efforts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in residential areas.
