The All India Construction Experts Association celebrated Engineers Day in Udumalpet. Three outstanding engineers were honored with awards. Plans for the 2025 construction exhibition were also discussed.
Coimbatore: The Udumalpet center of the All India Construction Experts Association celebrated Engineers Day at the Lieutenant Subhash Renukadevi Foundation Hall in Udumalpet, Tiruppur district.
Jayabalan, the handbook division engineer of the All India Construction Experts Association, attended as a special guest. In his speech, he emphasized the crucial role of engineers in the construction sector.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to three outstanding engineers. Senthilkumar, a deputy engineer with the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, received the Humanitarian Award. Ilamathi was honored with the Humanitarian Virtuoso Award, while Engineer Sundaram, owner of Century Construction, was presented with the Green Friendly Award.
Furthermore, the construction exhibition scheduled for 2025 in Udumalpet was named "Asthivaram" (Foundation). Plans for this exhibition were discussed in detail. The September income and expenditure accounts of the All India Construction Experts Association were also reviewed.
The event was attended by Balamurugan, President of the Udumalpet center of the All India Construction Experts Association, Secretary Ravisankar, Treasurer Arunkumar, S.M. Nagaraj, Executive of the Tiruppur District Tourism Association, Selvaraj, Chairman of the Subhash Renuka Devi Foundation, and engineers from the Udumalpet area.
