Nilgiris MP A. Raja Expresses Gratitude and Inaugurates Public Facilities in Karamadai, Coimbatore

Nilgiris MP A. Raja thanked voters in Karamadai for his election victory and inaugurated a community toilet and a passenger shelter in the municipality on October 9.


Coimbatore: Nilgiris Member of Parliament and DMK Deputy General Secretary A. Raja expressed his gratitude to party officials and the public in the Karamadai Municipality area for securing his victory with a significant margin of votes.



The thanksgiving event took place on October 9 in the presence of several party functionaries.



Key party members who attended the event included Thondamuthur Ravi, City Secretary Venkatesh, Executive Committee Member T.R. Shanmugasundaram, District Chairman Purushothaman, and Karamadai West Union Secretary S. Surendran, along with other prominent party officials and supporters.



In a separate event on the same day, MP A. Raja inaugurated a community toilet facility in Ward 17, Shastri Nagar area of Karamadai Municipality. The facility, constructed at a cost of Rs. 27.50 lakhs, was opened for public use. The inauguration was attended by District Party Secretary Tho. A. Ravi, Executive Committee Member T.R. Shanmugasundaram, Union Secretaries SMT Kalyanasundaram and Surendran, along with various party officials and local body representatives.



Additionally, Raja inaugurated a passenger shelter near the car stand in Ward 23 of Karamadai Municipality. The shelter, built at a cost of Rs. 7 lakhs, was also opened for public use on October 9. The same group of party officials and local representatives were present at this inauguration as well.

These events highlight the MP's engagement with his constituency and the ongoing development works in the Karamadai area.
