Novel protest against setting up of TASMAC outlet

The cadres of Hindu Makkal Katchi staged a novel protest with liquor bottles demanding that no TASMAC outlet be opened near temples, schools or in the middle of busy neighborhoods.

The cadres who wore garlands of liquor bottles rolled over on the ground and protested against the relocation of TASMAC liquor outlet near a  temple in Avarampalayam.

“While the public had protested and shifted out a TASMAC  outlet from the same area in the past, efforts are on to open a new one” the cadres alleged.

The Hindu Makkal Katchi cadres also demanded a total prohibition be implemented in Tamilnadu.
