AIADMK to Celebrate 53rd Foundation Day - Announcement by MLA PRG.Arunkumar

AIADMK's 53rd Foundation Day to be celebrated on October 17, 2024. PRG.Arunkumar, MLA and District Secretary of Coimbatore North Suburban, announces grand celebrations across various party units.


Coimbatore: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is set to celebrate its 53rd Foundation Day on Thursday, October 17, 2024. The announcement was made by PRG.Arunkumar, MLA of Kavundampalayam constituency and District Secretary of Coimbatore North Suburban AIADMK.

In a statement released today (October 11), PRG.Arunkumar said that as per the directives of AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, the party will observe its 53rd anniversary with great fervor. The AIADMK, described as a "people's grand movement," was founded by Dr. Puratchi Thalaivar MGR for the welfare of Tamil Nadu's people.

The MLA has called upon all party functionaries, including current and former MPs and MLAs, to participate in the celebrations. He urged members from various wings of the party such as MGR Manram, Puratchi Thalaivar MGR Youth Wing, Women's Wing, Students' Wing, Anna Trade Union, Lawyers' Wing, Minority Welfare Wing, Agriculture Wing, Fishermen's Wing, Medical Wing, Literary Wing, Unorganized Drivers' Wing, Youth and Young Women's Front, Trade Wing, and IT Wing to take part in the event.

PRG.Arunkumar requested party members from district, union, area, town, municipality, panchayat, ward, and branch levels, as well as local body representatives and party activists, to celebrate the occasion by garlanding the portraits of Dr. Puratchi Thalaivar MGR and Dr. Puratchi Thalaivi Amma, hoisting the party flag, and distributing sweets.

The announcement emphasizes the AIADMK's commitment to continuing the legacy of its founders and reinforcing its presence across various sections of society in Tamil Nadu.
