Coimbatore: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) celebrated Ayudha Puja and Saraswati Puja at the Kavundampalayam constituency office in Coimbatore district on October 11. The event was presided over by P.R.G. Arunkumar, the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kavundampalayam constituency.

The celebration saw a significant turnout, with party officials from various levels of the organization participating. District, area, union, and panchayat administrators, along with allied wing officials, were present at the event. Party workers and members of the general public also joined in to mark the occasion.

Ayudha Puja, an integral part of the Navaratri festival, is traditionally celebrated to honor the tools and instruments that are essential for one's livelihood. The inclusion of Saraswati Puja, which venerates the goddess of knowledge and arts, added to the cultural significance of the event.

The AIADMK's decision to host this celebration at the constituency office highlights the party's efforts to maintain a strong connection with its grassroots supporters and the local community. Such events often serve as platforms for political leaders to interact with their constituents and reinforce party unity.

The festive atmosphere at the Kavundampalayam constituency office underscored the AIADMK's commitment to cultural traditions while also serving as a reminder of the party's presence and activities in the region.
