Tamil Vidiyal Katchi cadres arrested for picketing.

Police arrested 25 cadres of Tamil Vidiyal Katchi, a fringe Tamil national outfit for picketing in front of  Damro furniture showroom in the city.

Alleging that the furniture showroom which is owned by a Srilankan national has no right to do business in Tamilnadu, the protestors said thousands of Tamils were butchered by the Srilankan Army during the final phases of the Srilankan civil war (Eelam war 4).

“The United Nations Human Rights Council ( UNHRC) has indicted the Srilankan Government for war crimes and  the Srilankan Tamils were displaced in the 60-year-old long strife.” the protestors said.
