Coimbatore Court Area Roundabouts to be Permanent: WhatsApp Number Announced for Public Opinions

Successful trial of merging three roundabouts in Coimbatore court area. Police release WhatsApp number for public opinions on making the changes permanent.

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Police conducted a trial to merge three roundabouts in the Integrated Court Complex area to reduce traffic congestion. The police department has reported significant improvements as a result of this initiative.

The City Police have decided to seek public opinion on making this roundabout integration permanent and on ways to further improve it. For this purpose, they have released a dedicated WhatsApp number for the public to share their views.

On October 16, the Coimbatore City Police announced that the public can send their opinions to the WhatsApp number 81900-00100. Through this initiative, the police expect to receive suggestions and comments from the public to enhance traffic management.

This move is part of the police department's ongoing efforts to reduce traffic congestion in the city. It is expected that with public participation, this will help further improve the city's traffic system.

The trial merger of the roundabouts in the court area has shown promising results in easing traffic flow. The police are now looking to make informed decisions based on public feedback, ensuring that any permanent changes will be in line with the needs and preferences of Coimbatore's residents.

This initiative demonstrates the police department's commitment to collaborative problem-solving in urban traffic management. By involving the public in the decision-making process, they aim to create a more efficient and citizen-friendly traffic system in Coimbatore.
