Communist Party Stages Black Flag Protest Against Delimitation Plan

Communist Party of India members across Coimbatore district are displaying black flags at their homes and party offices to protest against the Union government's delimitation plan. Western Zone Secretary N Chandran and other party leaders are participating in this widespread demonstration against the proposed constituency reorganization.


Coimbatore: Communist Party of India members across Coimbatore district are staging a black flag protest against the delimitation plan proposed by the Union Modi government. Party workers are displaying black flags at their residences and party offices to express their strong opposition to the constituency reorganization scheme.






Today (April 16), black flags were hoisted at the residences of CPI Western Zone Secretary N Chandran, 41st Ward Councillor K Shanthi Chandran, Deputy Secretary N Mohan, and M Baby (NFIW) as part of the protest demonstration.






Party members believe that the Union government's delimitation plan is against democratic principles. They fear that this scheme will adversely affect social justice and regional equality, prompting them to launch this protest movement.




District and local level leaders from various wings of the Communist Party of India are actively participating in this protest. Black flags have been erected at party offices and prominent public locations across the district.




Party members have demanded that the Union government withdraw the delimitation plan immediately. Party sources indicated that this protest is being conducted across the entire state as a coordinated effort against the proposed reorganization.
